The delegation of the Chinese Communist Party, which came to Nepal after the dissolution of the House of Representatives and the subsequent split of the ruling Communist Party of Nepal (CPN), is active in meetings. A delegation led by Guo Yezhou, Deputy Minister of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party, has met with CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.

Guo Yezhou’s team reached Prachanda’s residence at 9 am on Monday and left after discussing with him for about an hour, according to Prachanda’s secretariat.

After the talks with Prachanda, the Chinese team will reach his residence in Koteshwor to meet another chairman of the camp, Madhav Kumar Nepal, sources said.

A delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC), which arrived in Nepal on Sunday for a four-day visit, has already met President Vidyadevi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.
