– Two people have been killed when a bus hit a motorcycle in Jhapa.A bus and a motorcycle collided on the East-West Highway at Jhiljhil in Shivasatakshi Municipality-8 on Tuesday morning.

According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, a bus (Ko 1 Kha 6098) heading from east to west and a motorcycle (Pra-1-02-043 Pa 9218) heading in the opposite direction collided with each other. The injured were rushed to Birtamod Hospital for treatment. Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rakesh Thapa informed that Gyanendra Tamang, 31, of Sunsari Savik Mahendranagar VDC-4 died while undergoin Similarly, 28-year-old Salina Rai of Itahari Sub-Metropolis-5 died at around 4.15 pm, said DSP Thapa.

Similarly, Rabin Khadka, 27, of Morang Kanepokhari Gaonpalika-7 has been taken under control by the Area Police Office, Jhiljhil. Police have also taken the bus and motorcycle under control.
