saptari – Kirtipur Hospital has been vandalized after the baby died during delivery.Spokesperson of the Metropolitan Police Complex, Kathmandu, Deputy Superintendent of Police Pramesh Bista said that the deceased had vandalized the hospital on Saturday afternoon.

According to him, 17 people have been arrested after the vandalism.Sabina Subedi, 25, of Naikap was admitted to the hospital on Friday night for delivery.’He had come last evening. The doctors did not find the baby’s heartbeat. He said that the operation should be done even if he is not dead, ‘he said, quoting the hospital administration. After the operation, the baby was born dead and vandalized.

The arrested have been taken to Kalimati Circle by the police.Further investigation is underway. The hospital administration has said that it will provide information about the incident shortly.
