Police have arrested a man on charge of killing a man in Chandragiri, Kathmandu.The arrested is Ram Krishna Tamang, 22, of Masine in Chandragiri-2, police said.DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, said that Ram Krishna had killed 52-year-old Ham Bahadur Sudar while he was staying at Chandragiri 7.
DSP Ghanshyam Shrestha said, “We received information that a man had been killed at 11 pm last night. We have immediately completed the necessary investigation, sealed all the checkpoints and arrested one person.He said that it was revealed from the preliminary investigation that the accused had admitted that he had hit Hom Bahadur on the head and other parts of his body during the transaction dispute.Ram Krishna had given Rs 7 lakh to Hom Bahadur. It has been revealed from the preliminary investigation of the police that Tamang had given a statement that Hom Bahadur died after being beaten by Lara in Akrash after he refused to give it even after repeated requests.
The Metropolitan Police Circle, Thankot, said that further investigation into the incident was underway.
