CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the people to be calm as the Sun symbol and the CPN (Maoist) will be with them. Addressing a gathering of Gandaki cadres in Pokhara, Dahal made such a claim. Talking to the Election Commission yesterday, he expressed confidence that the commission would do justice.

“We have 70 per cent focused members. We have gone to the Election Commission and set a precedent, “Dahal said.” I believe that the Election Commission makes fair decisions. The sun sign is ours, the CPN is ours. ‘ He warned that if anyone cheated, a storm would be created. He said he found the commission serious about the issue. Dahal also remarked that the people of KP Oli were terrified.”We have a lot in the secretariat, the standing committee and the central committee,” he said. Saying that only KP Oli can lie, he said that they cannot. Dahal had alleged that he had attacked the constitution to save his seat as he was preparing to investigate the corruption in Kovid-19 or else leave the responsibility. “Where is the right in the constitution to dissolve the House of Representatives?” Dahal asked.

He claimed that the party’s dispute in the sovereign parliament elected by the people should not be attacked. Oli accused him of intimidating people and rejoicing in regression.
