Saptari – Bishnu Prasad Acharya, an associate professor of anthropology at Ratna Rajya Laxmi (RR) Campus, has been arrested again.

A team from Kathmandu Metropolitan Police Campus arrested Acharya on the basis of a complaint lodged by a female student. He was arrested three years ago on July 3, 2008 on charges of sexually abusing a female student on campus. This time too, he has been caught in the same case. He was taken under control after he received a complaint that he had sent obscene messages to the student through Facebook Messenger.He was seen texting his own student by writing abusive words on Facebook. Therefore, we have taken it under control for further investigation, ”said SSP Ashok Singh.

Police are investigating the indecent behavior against him. If the student uses obscene words from the messenger, he will be prosecuted under cyber crime. Earlier, he was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Division. He was accused of sexually assaulting the girl in the classroom.
