Saptari – A pressure cooker bomb was found in a market in Banepa of Kavre district on Saturday morning. An unidentified group had planted a bomb in Budol of Banepa Municipality-6. According to the District Police Office, Kavre, the bomb was disposed by a Nepal Army team.

According to the police, the locals had informed the police after seeing the suspicious object.After the evaluation of the police bomb team was called to the army.A bomb had exploded at Mangaltar in Roshi village of Kavre district, police said.
The blast took place on BP Highway on Saturday morning. No damage was reported from the blast and the incident is being monitored, police said.

The banned Communist Party of Nepal, led by Netra Bikram Chand Biplava, has declared a Nepal Bandh on Saturday. Police estimate that the bomb was planted by the group calling for the closure.
