A temporary police post has been set up near the Nepal-India border in Bhadrapur Municipality- 95 to reduce crime in the border area. The bit was inaugurated by Bhadrapur Municipality Chief Jivan Kumar Shrestha during a function held on Monday.
The construction work, which started on May 7, has been completed at a total cost of Rs. 1,680,658.

According to the District Police Office, Jhapa, the police bit has been constructed with the special initiative of Ward Police Office Bhadrapur and Community Police Service Center Bhadrapur and with the help of Bhadrapur Municipality to prevent criminal activities in the border area.
